The Secret of Stonehenge. England.

Stonehenge is a giant stone puzzle in the center of England. Today we know very little about its origins, history and purpose. But even this information will suffice to understand that ordinary people could not calculate and build such a hulk. I suggest you to learn about this phenomenal building with the help of various hypotheses. The latter in a large number of advanced modern scientists.

Stonehenge is a stone megalithic structure 130 km south-west of London. In a circle along the outer shaft are 56 small funeral "Aubrey holes". They are named after John Aubrey, who first described them in the XVII century. To the north-east of the entrance to the ring stood a huge, seven-meter heel stone. During the construction of Stonehenge, an earthen alley was erected between the Heelstone and the entrance. Two rings were erected from 80 huge stone blocks of blue color. The latter were probably delivered from South Wales. There is such material available. At the final stage of the construction, the megaliths were rearranged. The blue stones were replaced by a circular colonnade of 30 triliths. Each trilith consisted of two vertical stones and one horizontal slab on top. Inside the ring, there were once 5 separate freestanding triliths forming a horseshoe.

Who built it?

According to ancient traditions, Merlin himself put his hand to the construction of the megalith. It was he who brought stones from southwestern Wales, in which from the earth beat the sacred springs. The origin of the huge Heel Stone is associated with another legend. It says that once the devil saw among the stones a hiding monk. The unfortunate man tried to hide, but the devil threw him a huge boulder, which crushed his heel.

On this with legends we will finish and see what the scientists say. Even in the Renaissance, the architect I. Jones suggested that Stonehenge was built by the ancient Romans. In the XIX century it was decided that there was a place for the power of the druids. By that time, it was already little known how the Druids performed their rituals. In particular, it was known that they chose places for their rituals with powerful energy.

WFor what purpose did they build the complex?

An interesting hypothesis was put forward by the English writer and explorer Tom Brooks. He suggested that Stonehenge was part of a giant navigation system. This system consisted of isosceles triangles, the vertices of which indicated the following point.

Some of today's historians have advanced the theory that Stonehenge is the tomb of Boadicea. This historical character was a pagan queen. In the 60th year of our era, she raised an uprising against the Romans. After his suppression, she took poison.

Today Stonehenge is a structure of 82 five-ton megaliths, 30 stone blocks, weighing 25 tons and 5 triliths, weighing up to 50 tons. Folded stone blocks form arches, which once served as an impeccable sign of the sides of the world.

When is it built?

Until recently, scientists assumed that this monument was built in the second millennium BC. Living at that time in the British Isles, the tribes built it to observe the Sun and the Moon. But the latest data of modern science make it necessary to reconsider many conclusions of researchers. Now archaeologists agreed that this architectural monument was built in three stages between 2300 and 1900. BC. And recent studies of this territory showed that people lived here as far back as 7200 BC. That is, long before the creation of Stonehenge.

As early as the last century, the geologist H. Thomas established where the stones were delivered for the complex. These quarries were in Wales, 300 kilometers from the construction site! It would be interesting to see how these stones were taken to Stonehenge. In late 1994, Professor David Bowen, using the latest method, determined the age of Stonehenge. It turned out that it is 140,000 years old. This was the penultimate interglacial period. Famous astronomer Fred Hoyle studied all the geometric features of Stonehenge. The material collected, led him to the idea that Stonehenge was an observatory. And its creators knew exactly the orbital period of the moon and the duration of the solar year.

The solar system is in section.

In 1998, astronomical scientists reconstructed the original view of Stonehenge using a computer and conducted various studies. Their conclusions were shocking to many. It turns out that this ancient monolith is not only a solar and lunar calendar. It is also an accurate model of the solar system in cross section. According to this model, the solar system consists not of nine, but of twelve planets. According to this scheme, one unknown planet is located between Mars and Jupiter, and two beyond the orbit of Pluto.

A feature of all ancient megaliths is their unusually high seismic resistance. Studies have shown that during their construction, special platforms were used, which softened or completely extinguished earth tremors. On such platforms, most of all ancient structures are erected. In addition, such foundations practically do not give "shrinkage of the soil", which inevitably occurs with modern construction.

Who were the ancient builders?

Scientists do not yet know who and for what erected this grand astronomical observatory. In this regard, discussions and disputes are still seething. And apparently this situation will continue for some time.

Undoubtedly one, the ancient builders possessed colossal knowledge in astronomy, mathematics, geology and architecture! But grandiose monuments and structures of the past are found practically all over the world. This means only one thing - we still do not know anything about our true history.
